無料キャンセルの選択肢が無い？

4月の日本の一時帰国のフライトをキャンセルしたいなと思ったけど、ウェブサイトを見る限りではキャンセル無料ということはなさそう。

既存のご予約

2020年3月5日以前に発券され、2020年6月30日以前にご搭乗予定の長距離国際線予約（ホノルル・バリ路線を含む）につきましては、以下のオプションを選択いただけます。

• 新たに変更をご希望の場合は、１予約につき1回、手数料無料で変更を承ります。

• 新しいご旅行日程がお決まりでない場合は、発券された日から12ヶ月間、航空券を有効とさせていただきます。

弊社予約部にてご購入いただいたご予約に関しましては、サービスフィーは免除させていただきます。運賃・諸税に差額が生じた場合は徴収させていただきます。

最初は情報を出してないだけかと思ったけどくまなく見てみると無料ではなく通常の返金ルール適用。ただ、前述の対応と矛盾があるような？

If your travel is within New Zealand and we can get you there on the same day and you’d still like to change, we can make one change free of charge. However, if your new flight has been changed by more than 4 hours, we can hold your fare in credit for 12 months from the date of issue. Otherwise, normal refund rules apply.

If your travel is to Australia and we can get you there on the same day, but you’d still like to change, we can make one change free of charge. Otherwise, normal refund rules apply.

If your travel is to any other international destination and we can get you there on the same day, or the day before or after, we can make one change free of charge. Otherwise, normal refund rules apply. If your change involves a voluntary overnight stay, accommodation will be at your own cost.

この先、ウイルス問題が収束して8月、9月くらいに安心して海外旅行に行けるのなら変更で対応するのだが。日程が決まってない場合は発券から12ヶ月有効ということだが発券が早かったからキープしておくのも難しい。出発48時間以上前に電話するなということなので色々と疑問があってもそれまでは解決できないな。

今のところニュージーランド航空も混乱状態だろうから4月に入れば落ち着いて情報も整理されてきて、実は今の記載と対応が違うということもあるかもしれない。とりあえず今は待ち。
